Business history

ELTON CORPORATION SA - Romania, the oldest affiliate company of ELTON Group of companies starts its activity as importer and distributor of chemical raw materials.
|
|
|
The investment for the construction of a contemporary warehouse and office building on a privately own lot in the industrial area of Bucharest was completed and the company transferred to its new installations.

|
|
In order to cover all territory of Romania, ELTON CORPORATION SA has established a branch in Cluj (office and warehouse), which is covering the north-west part of the country.

Company profile
Main activities within our business are import and distribution of chemical raw materials and food additives.
The business concept is consisting of a fully integrated flow of all activities related to this business, with a powerful sales team and distribution all over Romania.
The sales network is modeled on that of the Greek mother-company according to the needs of the Romanian market and geographically covers all country.
The Company is organized in 5 Business Units:
Food & Beverages (additives for bakery, confectionary, dairy, meet, beverages, etc)
Industrial (raw materials for water and solvent based paints, varnishes, adhesives, construction materials; unsaturated polyester resins, etc)
Cosmetics, Detergents & Pharmaceuticals
Textile & Leather Treatment
Metals & Water Treatment
Soon we aim to bring and to develop on the Romanian market a new package of feed additives and agrochemicals.
Since its establishment in Romania, the net sales and financial figures of the company grew constantly, based on the mother-company's know-how as well as on a young, enthusiastic and well-trained sales team.

Our team

Distribution
On the domestic market (Romania) the distribution is assured through 1 central distribution center located in Bucharest and one branch in Cluj and covers all territory. Our sales network reaches over 900 customers all over the country, mostly industrial producers.
We promptly supply chemical raw materials from stock all over the country through our partners, forwarding companies.
